Revisiting my NaNoWriMo story from 2010, and have finally delved deep into the backstory, which is what I needed to do. Trying to learn more about the villain and his motivation….Think I have it figured it out. Takes forever to do this kind of stuff!

My goal is to be finished the backstory by the end of the year. I’m trying to keep up on the story by writing some scenes in the present-day, so I don’t lose complete track of what’s happening.

My goal is to work on it every day. So far the most I’ve done is 4 days a week. Which, I suppose is better than not at all! I was having trouble getting into the story whenever I did work on it, but that was just because of the long breaks in between. If I look at it every day, hopefully I won’t forget. :)
