While I’m supposed to be drowsing I’m pondering work problems…
A thing that happend quite frequently last week is the “Who’da thunk it” mail, also called “Now that you mention it…”.
Its people pointing out blatantly obvious problems (that were discussed at length before) and making a point to mark that they see this problem as a problem and obviously only they do as we all are too stupid to see it.
I’m at a loss as to how to respond to these mails.
Most of the time I simply ignore them – as by my email rules, any mail that has me only as a cc and goes to more than 2 people in cc is just for information and it is not to be replied to. And obviously, a problem is a problem…
I’d be interested if anybody has a better strategy!
