MADDI23 Down in a hole and I don't know if I can escape.
So I was training up to a 5k and was at the point where I knew I could run one comfortably. Unfortunately, that was the same time I was set to leave for Australia. Australia was full of busy days and not much time for sleep so there was definitely no time for running. Although I did things like hike the base of Uluru and snorkle the great barrier reef, it wasn’t the same as running. And then I came back and was lazy and stopped at all. Today I went back to the gym for the first time in waaaaay too long and I’m almost as bad as when I started. So, I’m starting my training over from the beginning and upping my speeds a little bit for the short distances, so in the end hopefully I’ll be even more ready than before. And this time I wont stop, I’ll train up to a 10k and then a half marathon and so-on.
