weight: 125.0
so after a week, i am officially down 2.5 pounds. i am happy with that! i am so glad the water weight from yesterday is gone!
i made a few things clear with myself as i was laying in bed trying to fall asleep last night. first, i am not fat. i have a healthy BMI. and second, i am not, and will not ever be “petite.” i think that what i have in mind as my goal to look like is something i can never acheive because that is just not my body type. i am in shape. and i have thunder thighs. however, i can still be skinny. and i can still be beautiful. these pounds i am trying to lose will hopefully thin my legs out just a little bit.
no matter how discouraged i was throughout this week seeing the number on the scale, i still have a net loss. and that is what matters. now, i am 2.5 pounds and 1 week closer to reaching my goal. and that feels awesome! i havent stayed on track for this long in about a year.
i am going to try to weigh in every other day starting today. sunday, tuesday, thursday, and friday (because i count friday as my offical weekly weigh in date)
today begins the start of a new week! i can do this!
