It’s the financial new year! My boyfriend and I are getting our own place in October. I want to make sure I have a good financial buffer behind me/us. Here are my goals:

• Emergency Fund ($1,500-$2,000)
• Savings ($2,000 – $2,500)
• Car Fund ($700 – $1,000)

I’m aiming for the higher tier of numbers but anywhere within that range and I’ll be happy.
