The LOL (Love Of my Life) is going to Bali on business for two weeks. This is my opportunity to simplify my wardrobe. I plan to empty one drawer or cupboard at a time and dump it on the bed in the spare bedroom, then methodically make decisions about what goes back, what gets stored and what can be given away.

This will take time and the spare bedroom will be in temporary chaos for a while…. hence the reason I am doing this while the LOL is away. They do not cope with ‘temporary chaos’ very well.

The plan is to do a little every night until it is completed. I will be ruthless and at the end of it there will be more space, simpler choices and I will know exactly what I have for each season and each style i.e. Winter – business/formal/smart casual/slobbing around. Summer – business/formal/smart casual/slobbing around.

Also I will make sure I have a small cluster of old clothes for working in the garden etc.

It will be like sweeping my wardrobe clean and I am sooo looking forward to it.
