Beat my depression (read all 14 entries…)
The worst part

about having that “depression” diagnosis is never being able to be sure about the good days. I used to be quite a sunny and bubbly gal and enjoyed every good day, but now any upbeat day just has me worried that I’m heading for a bad round of darkness.

Sunny day, have energy, training went well at the new job, got some cross-stitching done…I want to be able to enjoy those successes.

Baby steps, baby steps. Just gotta do it.

Comments:

I hate sunny days

OCCASIONAL ones are OK. But summertime sunshine for 13 hours a day pisses me off. Why? Because I always am at work. Why would I want nice weather so I can be inside and missing it? Today is cloudy and gloomy. It’s awesome. I wish most days could be like this. No sun. No reason to feel bad about having to work.

And weekends are no exception, oh no. You see, come Monday the party’s over, and it can feel like coming down from a temporary high. Weekends need to be cloudy and rainy too, so I don’t MISS THEM when they end, because they always do. Winter should be year-round, preferably without the holidays.
