has just been completed. We’ve got a huge amount of data and some superb learning. Not only were we able to identify the primary keywords to target and what ad to run to get the best results, we were also able to find a resource for driving traffic at a cost of just a penny a click. After making some refinements in the beta web site, we’ve got the bounce rate down to just 7% (from 20% initially) and the pages viewed per visitor up to 3.5 (versus 2.3 initially). The average visitor now spends a full five minutes poking around (versus 2 minutes initially), which is great, and even though we were not testing monetization at all in this phase, we did manage to get our first “conversion” a few days ago … very promising.
