It took about two hours to:

-give my yard a mullet
-pull a ton of poison oak in hopes of starting on the poison ivy
-start pulling weeds, but then I went inside for a drink (and never reemerged)

Modifying my list / the long list:

Buy a container for yard waste pick-up
Remove the tons and tons of English Ivy
Keep it clean after the dogs
Move the compost
Plant grass in the patchy / bald areas
Remove the bush by the mailbox
Paint the mailbox post
{Clean and seal the deck}
Add a few gnomes
