31 July 2012 grateful for
- a bit of sun and a chance to get out and move around
- a new (used) top: a turquoise, beaded, cotton Pakistani kurta pyjama that looks good over jeans. (I hope it doesn’t look ridiculous to the many Asian people in the neighborhood…)
- a new place to live as of tomorrow (we’re renting for just 6 months, and it’s not quite as grand as it looks, but it will be basically ours alone! no more living with in-laws!)
- being able to say a few things I needed to say to A, which he basically understood
- lunch out (I think) and not being responsible for cooking it
- an insight: “wife” is not a job
