I was a war tax resister for 10 years but in 2011 decided to stop, for a variety of reasons. I made an offer in compromise deal with the IRS, and paid the amount we agreed on last friday. some of that amount i borrowed from my wife, so technically i’m not out of debt entirely. but this feels like a landmark moment anyway.
