Today was the first official day of school for both of my kids at their new schools. They had a GREAT time, made new friends. It started out a little rough for my son who wore the high school polo (black) instead of the elementary polo (burgundy or white). Unfortunately, I did not notice my son had the wrong shirt on, as I wasn’t used to the colors yet and the Black/Dark Navy looks similar to his old school.
So, today instead of the 2 trips I had to make to their school (roundtrip is 1 hr), I had to make 3 trips. Three hrs of driving was a bit much for me.
I’m so proud of my kids for pressing through their nervousness and having a great time!
