August 4 for Action & Adventure
Today is my wedding anniversary. Six years and counting. Yay us!
Action will mainly consist of the Great Laundry Effort (bleh) and making packing lists for next week. I know, that’s not much of an action list. I will also probably bike to my mother in law later today. With two kiddies in the cargo bike, that’s a bit of an active achievement but not much.
Forget the adventure for today. Unless you count dodging wasps at the playground just now. I don’t want to devaluate the term ‘adventure’ by using it for scaling Mount Laundry either.
Hm, maybe I can count watching the Gay Pride boats pass by my window as adventure? All that pink decoration sure is a bit of a challenge for a sane person.
