I solved this many years ago
To this day I have the alarm clock in the bathroom! I have to get up to turn it off. Rule is once in the bathroom no going back to bed!

I might do that again...
I used to have a clock radio that I kept in the bathroom but it broke, so I keep a regular old alarm clock in the kitchen now. I should make the investment and get a new one, because I remember that working really well…thanks!
