A simple solution.

If you could have one issue in your life right now taken care of for you in a simple manner, with no effort on your part, with no harm done to anyone in the process, what would that be and in what way would you like the issue resolved?

Make this a personal issue, not something big like global warming.

So many problems solved, nobody hurt.

A house

or a large downpayment for a house would solve many problems for me.
If we’re talking smaller feats, I’d have a specific teacher retire with a comfortable bonus.

Figure out what to do with my grandmother

My grandmother is 95 and her body is far outliving her mind. She has dementia and lives in her hometown, which my father and his 2 siblings have left ago. She doesn’t understand why she can’t live alone anymore and it’s heartbreaking to see this woman, who has always been so strong, falling apart. For now, my retired aunt is able to stay with her.

Dementia is so horrible!

I helped

some friends with their mother, who had Alzheimer’s. Very same issues, she became very restless, wondering where she was, where her husband was (deceased a few years ago) and why she couldn’t go home.

I hate this disease.

Me too.

I do a lot of work maintaining our acreage, but I have had no career direction. Sometimes I feel like I’m less of a person for not having any idea of what I’d like to do, and I have had “jobs”, but they didn’t motivate me, and I don’t want to do those anymore if I don’t have to.

I suppose if I were more open-minded, I could see my work at home as being my dream job.

there is someone in my life

someone who is unhappy in ways that she conceals but still her angst leaks out in great floods. I wish for her to accept life as it is and be forgiving – in other words, I wish for her happiness in all the ways there are.

I have this one daydream

I find a big bag of illgotten drug money that falls out of that meth lab on wheels (paneled van) during a police chase. there would be just enough money to pay off all my debts.

JaneMarie taking more time for herself

I am going to side

With the others who wish for money.

With money ….

I could pay debt for J and I

I could fund my husband’s operation and healthcare.

I could fund both our educations.

I could move with more ease.

I could buy a conservative plot of land, build a house, grow a garden, raise chickens, and milk goats.

I could fund my research

I could open an eatery

I could have an endless resource of art supplies

Yep a mega millions or big bag of money could really help out a lot sometimes.

The Warrior Queen & The Jellied Eel I got my rock moves...

Money was my first thought

‘cos being clear of debts would be fantastic.

Then I thought, erasing my procrastination habit would be even better.

But honestly, the biggest impact on my life would be kicking addictive substances. So I’d like to resolve that please.
I know, I can and will do it myself but a magic wand to make it just disappear would be the business ;-)

Secured funding for my agency

So we could grow as we need to, to meet the needs of our community, without enormous fear.

Here is what I would do with this secured funding:

  • Provide our employees, including me, with health care insurance.
  • Hire at least two FTEs to expand our program to Bellevue / Redmond.
  • Be able to reimburse our volunteers for the miles they drive on the behalf of our clients.
  • Be able to spend money on things without having to think and rethink and rethink whether or not it is really worth it. Like name badges for the board or full-color brochures to recruit volunteers – that sort of thing.

gottawonder has gotten 3 cheers on this entry.
