Sister came up with this wonderful idea- getting together for a French class every Friday. Each week, one of us prepares the material- a text to discuss and a song to fill out the lyrics to. Lesson 1 last week was so much fun! Gathering together, the four sisters, around the table, each with a copy of the text to be studied, taking turns in reading, looking up words and verbs in the Larousse, sharing what we’ve understood, laughing at each others’ mistakes and singing Comme d’Habitude! Tomorrow’s lesson is mine to prepare, and I’m so looking forward to it:)
