Adventure:
I hired out a movie, Hard Candy yesterday. As I was borrowing it, I came to the realisation that I’d never hired out an R rated movie myself before, only watched them at other people’s houses. So that was an unexpected adventure for me. Later that night, I went out to tea with my ex-best friend, her husband and their baby still in her belly. A lot less awkward than I thought it was going to be. She kept rubbing her tummy and I wondered if he/she was kicking. I wanted to ask so I could have a feel, but I was too embarrassed. I still find it really odd that their having a baby at 23, but each to their own :) Unfortunately, C. tried ringing me while we were out to tea, but I didn’t hear my mobile as it was loud in the restaurant. He managed to get off work early so he could come and catch up, but by the time I checked my phone it was too late. He was a little upset when I got home and I felt quite bad about it.
