Painting 2
This canvas texture was way too rough. Painting smooth lines on it was nearly impossible. I’m switching back to the cheaper cardboard canvas this week.

I actually messed up pretty badly in the beginning and tried to cover it up by piling more paint on it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t completely undo my mistake so the painting ended up being different then what I originally imagined.

I’m still not sure what to do with backgrounds. I usually leave the background blank when I draw. Watering down the paint made the background look blotchy. Might have been better as a solid color.
