After a bad experience as a child, I have no confidence in the water. I am not afraid of water, but I do not know how to swim other than doggie paddle (barely), and cannot hold my breath underwater. I found that my college offers a beginning swimming class, and as I still have almost a thousand dollars of scholarship money left to use, I am planning on taking that class this spring!
