1. My sister’s surgery was a success. We visited her in the hospital where she will be staying overnight in a recovery room. My sister lying in bed with very little energy; just enough to open her eye lids, freaked me out a bit because I don’t really know how to interact with someone that helpless. She will be released tomorrow.

2. After leaving the Summerlin Hospital, we went to Maru, a Korean restaurant for dinner. The mark of a good Korean restaurant is the quality of their kim chee. And Maru’s was delicious. My brother and I split the chop chae and grilled salmon.

3. After dinner, since my other sister, Judith was visiting from out of town, we decided to take her Le Reve, a cirque du soleil type show. I was so mesmerized by the show’s ethereal theme. Everything was perfect about the show: the lights, sound, space and even down to the comfort of the seats. Just amazing. My favorite part of the show was a large flexible fan light contraption that was meant to look like a claim shell. My sister works at the Wynn hotel where Le Reve is at, so we got the employee discount. So happy about that.
