1. Baby said her first distinct, discrete word this morning as I was leaving to go for work. “Daddy” ;-) I came back for a moment. She knows how to get around me at 8 months.

2. Day elapsed at work without losing my job. Always a bonus in this economic climate.

3. Saw a rainbow on the way back home. Hey, natural beauty!
