Just as I needed more regular theater forays, I need classical music to be a more regular part of my life. Some of this comes through occasional purchases of music that I can hear here at home, but I need some live music experiences too. In the summer the Music of the Baroque series sent out a brochure offering season tickets for $20 each (in the balcony, of course, at that price!), and I intended to buy two sets and find various friends to accompany me, but I forgot until the deadline had passed.

Well, an e-mail today announced two additional series (3 concerts each) with $20 balcony seats with early purchase, and I have just bought tickets to one series! The concerts will be in November, February, and May – Bach, Handel and Haydn. I am so excited.
