Today on the 18th of September

1. Opportunities for change ~ Looking for a new job
2. Working mindfully on my issues of self ~ hatred. Not relishing this at all but know that I am fortunate to be able to identify it and so therefore am able to limit some of the damage it causes
3. Autumn approaches
4. Breezy days
5. Someone making an effort when I made a point
6. Pleased that I made the point
7. New student neighbours who are so far proving to be very quiet. That is definitely something to be relished

I dealt with self loathing for awhile too – I am out of the darkness. for me, it was finding faith, and slowly breaking down my defects piece by piece but being mindful all the while of gratitude and the good in my life, even if it only seemed to be such a small piece at the time.

I hope to find a new job in the next few months, fingers crossed… As for self ~ hatred, it is so debilitating so I am in need of kicking it up the bum ;)

Not sure

if the self ~ loathing will ever really disappear but if I can remain aware of it then I may be able to deal better with the feelings of deep rooted unworthiness it creates… I have recognised its hold for many years and every now and then have a go at getting it to lessen its grip… At least I feel that I am awake to its nature and can rationalise it in some ways, but it is still a draining process… Thanks hon, hope all good with you… :)
