The Road now runs due east. We’re low on provisions, so we pick up the pace. By Wednesday I could see ruins on a hilltop to the north. On Friday the ravine of the Bruinen comes close on the south side of the Road, and the Road turns to the northeast. On Saturday we passed a valley from the north. On Sunday we made camp, then continued northeast; the Road still hugging the feet of the Trollshaws.
