I tuliped my studio on Valentine’s day. My dear sweetie is far away so I had to go it alone so to speak. So I bought a bunch of red tulips, and gave them out to random people – even one to my prof’s.

I noticed as the day pressed on, the tulips were changing hands – being given away again and again. That’s so groovy. It was like, ‘spread the love – man.’ totally. dude.

Is THAT what those are? I like them very very much. I would have liked them more had I known they had such a name. They’re atop my desk in my studio so I get to see them all day.
