I have been contemplating finding my dad for the last few years (I’m 24) and every time I think about it I find excuses not to – but the bottom line is if I never know him, never meet him, never look for him – I will regret it. Not knowing is not something I can live with! Even if he rejects me, at least I will know I tried. I’m sorry it hasn’t worked out for you but be proud of yourself for finding him – you never know one day he may change his mind :-) all the best xx
