I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in October 2003. Up until that point, I didn’t know why I constantly and consistantly beat myself up the way that I did. It seemed like no matter what I acheived, I was still substandard in my own eyes irregardless of what others thought of me.

Thankfully, in learning about this illness, I’ve learned to let up on myself a great deal which has in turn helped me in better managing my moods.
