I just need to get off facebook. I can’t delete it forever because I have some friends who live in other countries and we communicate through facebook. I also get some useful information about my university stuff from other students.
The problem is that I get tons and tons of useless information with these benefits, like what a girl I used to hate in school had for lunch and how some annoying couples spend their quality time. Ugh.
I need to only go there if I need to talk to someone or find something out not every 15 minutes.
If you have any tips or suggestions I will be really grateful to see them in comments.

I honestly just deleted a ton of people. I know that is really uncomfortable and hard to do (believe me it was) but I went from 120 people to 99. I just asked myself….are you ever going to really see these people again? Have you actually talked to them in the time you added them? Half the time I would look at “see friendship” and realize we haven’t talked or “liked” each other’s posts since the beginning of “our friendship.” I did this a few days ago and I already spend a significantly less amount of time on it.

I have a big problem with the games which is why I don’t just delete. I am ADDICTED to Bingo Island and I play Bingo Blitz as well. I don’t care for Bingo Blitz as much but I still play it. If I could get off these darn games I would probably just delete.

I am really struggling too…hope my advice helps.

Thanks for your advice. I also deleted some of my really annoying ‘friends’ but there are people I can’t delete even though we never ever communicate. They study with me and it would be awkward. What I did was hide their posts from my newsfeed. I never see any of their posts and they don’t know I’ve hidden them. Ugh. I can’t handle that much of useless information.

I hear ya there. At least we can work on it together :)
