I’m in college, and often times in my smaller discussion classes, I feel the suddern urge to participate and answer the professor’s questions, but I don’t. I’m afraid that my classmates will think I’m a “know it all” or that I’ll answer the question wrong. But you know what? Class is so much more fun when I engage in learning. This semester, I’m going to make an effort to participate in my discussion classes at least once everyday.

Speak up to light up
Good for you! Yes, it’s so much more fun and you get more out of classes when you interact. Plus – you could spark other students to be brave and speak out too. It could lead to more confidence for all and some great discussions. :)
