be a vegetarian for a week (read all 7 entries…)

While I really like vegetables, this is difficult.  — 2 years ago

I have no problem eating a meal (or two) of veggies, as I like veggies. What I didn’t realize is how much I also enjoy eating meat. While I don’t cook meat often, I do order it when I eat out – especially fast food. So this goal proved to be harder then I thought. I’ll have to plan out a week’s worth of menus and then try this again.

I found

recently that there are some really great vegetarian recipies on the web. I searched last night for “The Best Foods” and found a great website which I can’t recall now, the exact title.

Do you like the taste of the meat itself or the seasonings most people use to add flavor to the meat? Some even cover up the taste of the actual flesh and they actually just enjoy the flavorings and not the meat itself. Some just like that meat is bulky and they feel full after eating a large piece of meat. You can get the same feeling after eating a large plate of fettucine alfredo without chicken or vegetarian nachoes or broccoli vegetarian chicken stirfry.
