Buy a House (read all 26 entries…)
House # 9, Offer #3 . . . Rejected

Here we go again . . . over the weekend we put in our third offer on House #9. Our realtor was out of town and was unable to line up anyone to help us, but we decided to put an offer in on this house even though we couldn’t get inside to tour it. Based on the photos it looked great and it was the same floor plan as the last house we liked. Our offer was contingent on a walk through, so there was a safety net in case we really hated it.

Unfortunately, the home received 11 offers in the short time that it was on the market and we were not the chosen ones.

There appears to be a real estate bubble here in Southern California – everyone is trying to buy right now.

Thank you!

I believe that we will find the right place in the right time . . . I just have to remind myself that and not allow myself to get caught up in the panic!

mochomitoaries just pick up my B.A. - ok now what's next.

you will find it

hi,

you will find it. you will feel it.. it’s not so much liking as a sense that you will get – that it’s your house.

I’m about to close on my first house tomorrow… i’ve been looking for three years… and went through 7 agents and saw about 200 houses.

- I wish i was joking, but , NO – I actually did see over 200. And same thing was happening – every time I would put in an offer I would get out bid by someone else.

- keep your head up – your house is waiting patiently for you.

Wow!

200 hundred houses!? I’m afraid it’s going to be the same for us. Eeek! However, I know it will be worth it in the end!

I am looking forward to having that magical feeling of walking into a home and just knowing it is ours – similiar to putting on a wedding dress and having it fit like a glove.

MargieMay has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
