ask politely people to erase someone else's private goal they adopted (read all 3 entries…)
I feel terrible

when I see that goal adopted, remebering entries from original owner I highly respect. It was very special and very private goal. (Of course it is valuable lesson to all of us not to put personal names in the name of the goal.)
If that happened to me, considering all the circumstances, i would feel terribly hurt and devastated.
So please dear known and unknown people, please in tribute to very nice person who erased her account, change the name of that goal or erase the goal completely.

I'll admit it

I am of the opposite mentality. I think that if I post a goal and it stirs a person enough to make them want to adopt it as their own for whatever reason…to make themselves smile, to bring back an old memory, because I’m just so darn creative and they just LIKE it…then GO FOR IT! I know that what they are thinking and feeling when adopting a goal is never going to be the same thing I did when I created it. It’s not fair to assume that I’m the only one that could ever have a connection to any goal. I want my goals to have a positive effect on my life and if they can have a positive effect on someone else’s life (for any reason) then that’s a bonus!!!

Your friend should be proud, it may not have been her intent, but she brought not one, but many lives a little joy while trying to reach her goal.

if you knew...this goal was particulary specific

well i agree with you, but if you knew everything which happened ending with complete account being erased after people adopting that goal (and there were special circumstances considering that goal) that, i believe you would understand.
i believe i would erase my account if that happened to me (but i wouldn’t use personal name in the goal)
i remember those entries (erased) and i know what happened but it’s too personal so i can’t tell you any more – if owner of accout decided to erase it, than i can’t write from my memory.

I’m sure those who adopted that goal while entries from original owner were still there and they know what happened after that, they sure understand but i don’t know how to reach them and i need help in it.

I’m sure my friend showed what she feels by erasing her account.
