This to do list is bigger than 43 things 3 years ago

Okay, so I met today with my realtor. And this is our work list of things we need to do to the house to get top dollar.

Kitchen
Tile the backsplash
Scrape the ceiling & paint it
Cover the electric breaker
Fix the dip in the floor
Fix the paneling
Pull the vent and spray paint it
Replace hardware on bottom cabinets
Put a clear globe and clear bulb in the fan light

Foyer
Scrap the ceiling & paint it
Pull vent and spray paint it
Cover the outlets

Living Room
Fix & paint the trim
Touchup paint
Buy new carpets that are round or have a swirl pattern

Bedroom
Steam clean the carpet

Spare bedroom
Spackle the crack near the door
Paint
Get a lighting kit for fan

Hall
Paint
Paint and fix the trim
Pull vent cover and spray paint
Change the rug to a round rug with a swirl pattern
Get something red for the little table

Outside
Powerwash the house
Paint the front porch, steps, and shutters
Replace awning on kitchen window
Call a termite inspector to get a CL-100
Fill dog holes in backyard

Other
Focus on aesthetic appearance
Worry about the dog smell

this is a long list

but you can do it! the good thing about lists is that it helps you focus. if you can just do one thing on your list you will be motivated to continue. And i hear that doing all this prep work before your house goes on the market will be worth it!

and i was just going to lay on the couch and watch raging bull…
