attend my 20 year West High School reunion in Anchorage, Alaska (read all 12 entries…)
a tip for my friends 3 years ago

Sounds like plenty of us are trolling this page to see who has arrived and what we’re all writing once we’re here. I thought you may enjoy this little time saver:

1) click on a person’s name/picture to get to their profile page
2) click on the word “subscribe” to the right of their picture
3) then go here: http://www.43people.com/subscriptions

Now you’ll see every entry or comment from the folks you’ve subscribed to. No need to hunt and peck through all the comments to see what’s new. It takes a few minutes to click the “subscribe” link next to everyone’s name, but once you do you’ll be set and can simply check the subscriptions link on 43 People to see what’s happened since you were gone.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Dan!

:>)

you're welcome

And sorry if 43T has ruined your work life. Well, actually that’s okay.

Getting fired

might not be so bad…!
I love my job. I love my job. I love my job. I love my job. I love my job. Chant with me. I love my job. I love my job. I love my job.

There. All brainwashed.

You know I only want the best for you, Nicole. If your boss gives you shit for using 43T you can blame it on me.

In the meantime you may want to consider this goal. Ouch!

The only way I could do that

was if I did this goal:

I really do like my job, just not always where I am doing it.
And I do like to make fun of it…

Subscriptions

I’m all for efficiency. But what if I’m subscribed to more people than are subscribed to me? That makes me feel sad. (If someone doesn’t have enough subscribers, could we get cancelled like a bad cable TV channel?) On the other hand – there are people that are subscribed to me and I don’t even know who they are. So that’s weird too. And I’m just picturing you, Dan, the puppetmaster, sitting somewhere in Seattle surrounded by laptops and servers with “43Things” skateboard stickers on them. Do I have that right?
It’s good fun though.

Katie ... boo!

Don’t be scared. It takes time for people to subscribe to you. And nobody (not even me) knows who is subscribed to them. But I’ll give you a hint about one of your subscribers: he’s bald, wears glasses and shared lockers with Trelnar.

And it’s probably time I come clean to all my classmates. I ain’t the brains of this operation. Sure, I use these sites like crazy as I love ‘em, but I’m no programmer. A “puppetmaster” I am not.

I hope you’re enjoying subscriptions. Can’t wait to party hardy with you.

Okay

Because it’s important to know your audience. And I was subscribed to you. Until I realized just how much back & forth you’re having on a hundred other things besides this. I mean there are other websites I have to keep up on too! And then there’s always work . . . .

Lost

Dan and Katie – I had to go back to work for one week and feel like I was left out of a HUGE party. I am trying to catch up and laughing histerically at night (the office was starting to catch on). The subscription thing is great because I could not remember where my strings were….early dimensia! Thanks Dan…hey Heather Brown sent me an email and is coming. Have you heard from Peter or Mia yet?

Molly I applaud your discipline

I’ve been a disaster at work. And thanks to Blackberry, I can not only ignore work, but my family, too. Instead I’ve been trying to name every song released in the ‘80s, comparing notes on Greenwich Village with Kevin, cajoling Dan into giving a friend a signed Maktub CD, wondering if Nate LaValley still dresses ready to survive a Nascar wreck-induced blaze . . . .
I’m just assuming Peter and Mia will both be coming, and haven’t pursued them since they’re about the only two from West that I’ve kept up with all these years!

Peter or M.I.A.

Both Peter and Mia are M.I.A. (missing in action). Then again, I’m not the organizer (Teresa is doing all the hard work). I’m just 43 Things guy :-)

I hope some more people show up. It’s fun. Be sure to “subscribe” to people as they join and then they’ll show up in your subscriptions.
