my plant died last week. I left it by the window during the night and I think that’s what finally did it in. Good news is though I bought a new plant a few days before the other one died and so far that one is doing really good. So I’m giving this another try.

It's ok

I tried my best. The new plant is still doing well. I like it because it’s pink and green. It’s called a Hypoestes.

Another tip for you and your plants...

I always make sure to repot a plant when I buy it, sometimes they are shipped in light-weight material (cheaper shipping) that does not hold water well.

If you are thinking about buying another plant, you might consider a pothos – they are easy to grow, take a lot of abuse, and come back to life even after they are half dead!

Also, I always get my plants either directly or indirectly from a local nursery…NEVER from some place like Wal-mart…they have a much better survival rate!
