Overrated..

I’ve lived in Hawai’i all of my life. I’ve seen this place change from the quiet laid back pace it was 20 years ago to the hustle and bustle it is today. I’ve had the chance to travel all over the west coast, (the mainland) and different parts of asia. I can honestly say there are not too many places that come close to hawaii 20 years ago, but with the needs of todays people, hawaii has turned into most any mid sized metropolitan area. The people here are humble most of the time, the food here is great most of the time, and yes.. i must say my hawaii women are #1 in my book. The traffic.. (yes there is traffic), is becoming a problem. Pollution is becoming a problem. Mainly, all the problems you get when it gets crouded are found here. The job market is harsh too. If you dont work for the state or the feds, you better have better than a BA to make the real money. That, or start off at the bottom and waste 20 years at the low end of the totem pole to finally get promoted to mid level management. No, thats not me. But it soon will be. Anyway, good luck to whoever decides to make this bold move. But i’m warning you.. the grass is always greener. And yes, the juice is sweeter here.. but is it worth the squeeze?, or the whole fruit tree even?
