So far so good...  — 2 years ago

I have managed 12 mins for two days running. That’s a start.
That is all I have found time for on waking, before the disturbance of the rest of the house interrupts me.

It is also about as long as i can manage before other things keep popping into my mind and making it wander!

Will keep track of this.

I've done this for a whole week!

Admittedly it was only about 12/13 mins a day and one of those was about 5 mins and a phone call interrupted me for my remaining free time. I didn’t put myself down about it though, as I’m being very relaxed about it. I can only do what is humanly possible and if this time of day is the best for me, then I will just do what I can.

Putting the phone onto mute is not an option as the calls I get at that time of morning are important!

So I’ll keep going and see what developments I make :)

what helped me...

is getting up early and going outside. I seem to be able to relax better with the natural sounds of morning arround me. And, if you have a yard- no one will come ans disturb at that time of day. I also read that it’s good for the circulatory system to walk over cold morning dew with bare feet in the morning (just be sure to put socks on afterwards, you catch a cold easily this way).
If that doesn’t work, why not try soft meditative music and close you door so that no one bugs you.
