Build a solar cooker

This is my spring project

I’ve found a lot of neat and easy-to-build designs on the net, so my springtime project will be to build a solar cooker, and cook with it out on my balcony to conserve energy (and save money!). I’ll keep you up on my progress.

Do it! Do it!

Solar cooking is a blast. Sort of like an earth-friendly slow cooker: it doesn’t heat up the kitchen; it doesn’t scorch your food; it’s fun. I’ve been documenting my experiments with solar cooking (though I called the goal “Build a Solar Over”) so check ‘em out. Summer’s burning past.
