Worth doing!

The “bug bite” I had turned out to be poison oak and my doctor is in Fairfield where my parents live. San Francisco has dozens of local pharmacies but Fairfield has zero. Since I had to have my prescription filled so I don’t go crazy itching, I’ll add an extra day to my goal.
Tuesday I went to a play with a friend. No cheating there. Lunch and dinner were at my two favorite local places in Fairfield and I avoided temptation to go shopping at Target or Barne’s and Noble (it is so much easier in FF than SF) by buying books at a local thift store.

I hope your medicines work quickly. I would have done the same. You try your best but in an emergency (a real emergency) you have to go where you can.

I understand about the chemists – near where I work there isn’t an independent chemist for a mile or two. There aren’t many independent shops round where I work though. I take lunch in much more often now.
