learn to accept a compliment.
No, I'm a hose beast.

I absolutely cannot accept a compliment.

I always say something along the lines of, “shut up,” “whatever,” “meh,”.

I would like to be able to do the polite thing and say “thank you,” and not always assume that the complimenter is crazy or full of crap.

I’d like to be able to accept compliments as well. I don’t think that people are necessarily lying when they compliment me, because they may truly feel in such a way. However, I myself do not feel the same as they do. I would like to have as positive of an image of me as others do.
