Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Current Trend of Mobile Application Development

Mobile application development Sydney has seen a prodigious rise in the past few years. Whether it is Android, BlackBerry, iPhone or Windows phone, the applications were highly demanded and smart phone industry became one of the popular happening in the market. People use Smartphones every day as a part of their life and primarily, the apps are most helpful to them and helps in making their day-to-day task easy. Today this trend continues even with a high competition due to the development in technology and the introduction of several versions of Smartphones. According to a research 37% Australians own a Smartphone that ranks 2nd next to Singapore.

The above reason is sufficient to the rise of mobile application development industry in Australia. As apps are vastly used by the smart phone users, there has been a competition between the app developers to introduce the latest and user friendly applications.

The Trend:
The term Smartphone has existed in the market since 90’s. But it became more popular towards 2007 with the launch of IOS and with this OS, the trend of mobile app development started taking its height. Now this trend is more popular all over the world, especially in the city of Sydney, development companies are adopting new tactics to compete in the market. But, now its time to apply some specific criteria for developing unique and customized applications so as to meet the unique needs of client. Let’s have a look.

Procedure and Security Concerns:
Initially, the premier development companies were developing apps for a limited operating system like, Symbian, Java, iOS but, now, they are strictly focusing on each and every OS including Android, Windows, iOS etc. This is a good move to dominate the market. They are hiring professional experts to work on these projects. At the same time they are developing a cross platform application to run on most of the mobile phone Operating Systems.

In mobile applications, security is a major issue as people use these apps in monetary transactions, business operations and many other situations. Now, the development companies are keen on their job for providing better security options against all the Smartphone applications.

Today, app development Australia specializes in delivering user interface designs that people use through their Smartphones. They are also engaged in designing simple and attractive apps for the unique requirement of the customers. Keeping the intended users in mind they are now formulating innovative methods to reach maximum users within a short period of time.

However, as people want to keep the universe in their pocket, the need of the mobile application is very high and the necessity of a customized application is also in demand. is one among the reputed websites where, one can find these apps easily. is your reliable source if, you really want to know more about the mobile apps development.

I think the app development industry is one of the most competitive industries on the market right now. Once you make an app, there are hundreds of others just like it out there. So it’s hard to make yours known to others, especially if you’re doing it on your own. You really need to have either a good idea, or a LOT of skill and experience.
