For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts.

This one is an excellent verse to remember when things do not go our way. The Lord has a better plan.

Indeed, the Lord does have a better plan. Though this is rather belated, thank you for sharing that verse. I glanced upon it now and was struck by it, as though it touched me somehow. Thanks.
