take more time out for myself
busy mom 3 years ago

i think every woman with children that has a full time job has this problem.we do not take enough time out for ourselves.it has been my experience that even the small things get put off.it could be as simple as taking a bubble bath or reading a book in peace and quiet but even the little things get pushed to the sidelines.and i always seem to tell myself that i will do it later and i never get the time too. even when i do have the time i am generally to tired.someday i will master motherhood and find a way to do all of things and still take care of myself.i just hope i do this before i am 50.

jerebel trying to come up with $900 by thursday so we have a place to live.

I hate to break it to you, but no one, has ever or will ever master motherhood. I have the same dilema as you. I had a time in the past year or so when I did something for myself every couple of days. Either write in my journal, take a bubble bath or something. That time is no longer with everything that is going on in my life. It is a constant juggle, as you well know. I have to find a balance. This is so difficult to do. I had a balance and then my weekends become occupied by something(s) much more important. Now, I have to find a new balance so I can feel like I have some peace again in my life.
