Well I can now add S. Korea to the list… and I gotta say, honestly I’m not impressed.. yet. Seoul is massive, but that’s about all it is. It’s Seoul, but without soul.

Really? why didnt you like it? i’ve never been.. but i was planning to go.
well..
out of the places I’ve been to Korea seems to have a culture of isolation.. or something like that.. it’s kinda weird to explain. But when I walk around the city I absolutely feel un-welcomed, for the most part. In contrast while I was in Europe, every country I went to I felt like just another person. ... I guess I’m just trying to say that Koreans aren’t friendly people unless you’re Korean yourself. Now in all fairness once you get to know people and they become comfortable, Koreans are extremely friendly.
As for the city, because of this exclusive culture and it’s massive size, it can feel cold and harsh. More so then any of the major european cities that I’ve been too. Plus they don’t really cater to western forginers. I think my friends that aren’t asian have a thougher time then I do.. and they’ve told me stories about people just randomly spitting on them and some other scary stories.
