i found that puting away 25% of my weekly pay check in to one account and then the rest into another one works great. I only use the one with 75% of my pay and never touch the other one. The untouched savings account is a little low at the moment but that’s only because I spent it all on a holiday to Canada and the U.S. recently (which I paid for all on my own, big feat for me but maybe not for others). It’s amazing how quickly you can reach a few grand in the bank, plus the interest helps if you get a good rate.
