I’ve read Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Dubliners, and got most of the way through Ulysses, although that was some time ago. I’ve looked at Finnegan’s Wake and read some of the commentary on it, but it’s so surreal it’s hard going at times. But I’m determined. I like the theory that the last sentence in the books is supposed to complete the first sentence in the book, so it all becomes a big cycle.
