Yup, I did this. It was good for my kids. It wasn’t great for me (overall) and it wasn’t great for my husband and it was REALLY not great for our financial situation. But, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The kids really benefited and I ended up deciding on a new career! I’m studying to be a teacher now.

Kudos to you!
I am a stay-at-home (or should I say never-at-home) mom in California. I noticed that you are going for your teaching credential. I am, too. I started my college career at age 37. I got my AA and then we moved from WA to CA so my education has been delayed. Now, at age 41, I am going to CSU Sacramento, earning a degree in Math and earnining my teaching credential at the same time.
I applaud you for going for your goals. You go girl!
