Meet my half-brother (read all 4 entries…)
I don't know how to go about it 3 years ago

I really want to meet him and get to know him but I don’t have a clue how to find him or if he wants to be found.

Why hasn’t he tracked me down? Maybe he doesn’t want to or maybe he thinks i wouldn’t want him to.

I do want to meet him so much and have done for a long time so I will work on finding him and meeting him as I want him in my life as I am related to him.

If anyone reads this that knows Stephen (Steven) Batson whoes Dad is Adrian Batson and lives in Stockport/Manchester kind od area with a brother called Gary Batson then please get in touch or let him know his half sister is looking for him as she wants to meet him. :O)

Comments:

google gives

a lot of entries for “Stephen Batson”, but I assume you certainly tried this yet and it didn’t give anything ?

Is you father still alive ? Can’t he help you ?

Anyway, you’ve got all my support for this noble goal !

Yeah I tried it and came up with nothing worth while. My dad is still alive but has little information about Stephen and doesn’t like to share it with me anyway.

So my only hope is to find someone who might know him or hope someone will read this and knows him. I don’t have any other hope other than that at this time.

You might find it silly but

there’s this theory (well, it’s more than a theory since it was scientificaly verified) that says that between you and whoever on the planet, there is a maximum of 5 (or maybe 6, but it doesn’t really matter).

I mean, you know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows your half-brother… (and it might be much shorter, since you both live in the same country)

Here in France, with friends, we tried something a few months ago : one of us told us a very few things about a friend of his (her name is …, she lives in Nice, she studied in this school, her main hobby is …, basicaly), and we had to try and send her a book, only by sending it to someone we knew, who was supposed to send it to someone he/she knew, etc. The idea was : OK, I will send it to this person I know in Nice, etc.

Well, I’m not sure I’m very clear… Feel free to ask for precisions.

Anyway, a few books arrived into her hands, sometimes by very small paths…

So, here my idea : why don’t you write a letter to your half-brother, and send it to a person you think is as close to him as possible (might be someone you know or, after all, anybody living in Stockport/Manchester you found on the internet), with a letter explaining what you’re trying to do… People might understand and try to get closer to him…

My two cents…
