Its collect all the parts phase now, so I can start building.

I need small motorized gyroscopes! Anyone know a good surplus house for this? Edmond Sci. is Soooooo expensive! Yikes.

Funny you should suggest that

I’ve been plume out of luck trying to find gyros with the spec’s I want so…

I’m just getting some high speed DC motors, machining some flywheels the shape I want, and Viola.

Motors -Check
Gimbal bearings – check
Fly wheels…next week

I was hoping skip this and just buy them. c’est la robot building.

How is yours coming along?

I’m playing around with ways to make hand controllers move with gyroscopes.

Its still in the quickly evolving stage.

I live near robot central(silicon valley) – so there’s plenty of odd parts, but I’m experiencing the same thing you are. getting specs on stuff, and matching parts is slow going.

What are you doing?
