I loved both the book and the movie. The movie was done pretty well, for the amount of stufff it had to include. I believe they added all the necessary stuff, and did not stray too far away from the book unlike some teen books gone movies I have seen, such as The Princess Diaries..which was a terrible film, compared to the way the book went.
